LEBANON: Water resource management needed to avoid conflict

Lack of funding and mismanagement of water resources mean that Lebanon’s water resources will not meet the demands of its population into the next century, said the country’s Minister for Electricity and Water Resources, at a recent conference where 14 Arab nations met to discuss ways to overcome the mismanagement of water resources.
