CHINA: Changchun ten-year clean-up plan fights years of environmental neglect

The former Japanese colonial capital of Changchun located in the Jilin province, recently cited by the Washington-based World Resources Institute as having the second-worst air pollution in the world after Lanzhou in Gansu province, is engaged in a ten-year clean-up programme in an attempt to roll back years of neglect.
