Environmental Case Law Summary, January 2007

Once again Edie News and Semple Fraser team up to bring readers the latest on legal cases which impact on environmental industries in the UK and Europe. December was a lean month for the courts but there were nevertheless a handful of cases with environmental implications. Greece was told to do more train workers to dispose of environmentally damaging chemicals, the UK ran out of time when implementing noise pollution laws, Luxembourg was told to give the public the facts on carbon emissions from cars and the debate over the legal definition of waste-as-fuel rumbled on.
