Luxembourg fails to flag up fuel economy
The Luxembourgian public are not being given the information allowing them to make environmentally-informed choices when buying a new car.
CO2 Emissions from New Passenger CarsThe European Court of Justice has held that Luxembourg failed in its obligations under Directive 1999/94/EC on consumer information on fuel economy and CO2 emissions in respect of new passenger cars.
In failing to submit to the Commission the report on implementation of the Directive required by Article 9, Luxembourg failed in its obligations under the Directive.
