Speedy's sustainability strategy urges suppliers to get onside
Speedy, one of the UK's biggest providers of equipment rental and support services, has launched a new sustainability strategy called One Plan - and is urging suppliers to keep up or risk losing out.

Speedy says that One Plan offers improved efficiency, reduced costs and competitive advantage for customers
"At Speedy, sustainability isn't just a buzzword - we place it at the heart of all we do," says Andy Connor, the company's supply chain director.
"That's why we're not just going to help our customers improve their own sites; we're also going to encourage our suppliers to do the same by providing them with the skills and knowledge they need to improve their own businesses and make best practice in these areas a condition of working with us.
"This is a collaborative approach that we hope will implement best practice at both ends of our supply chain. For our customers, One Plan offers improved efficiency, reduced costs and competitive advantage.
"For our suppliers, One Plan means we're setting the bar high, and will seek to establish a long-term relationship with those that take sustainability equally seriously."
