Enhanced cameras improve inspection

A highlight of the RoKaTech Tradeshow in Leipzig in September 2004 was the new DigiSewer camera. This camera is a further development of the DigiSewer system which Painehuuhtelu from Finland was showing two years ago.

The new camera is designed and will be produced by iPEK (under licence of OYO, Japan) and is designed for the needs of the European market.

The camera is compatible to all existing iPEK Portable Systems so enabling all iPEK customers to upgrade their existing systems at a reasonable cost.

This new method of pipe inspection is also integrated in the new WinCan Version 8 software so useful, professional reports can be done. Of course it is also compatible to the existing Sewer Vision software of VTT (Finland).

In addition iPEK displayed the new ‘deep well’ version of its SYSTEM-SUPERVISION. This Pan & Tilt camera has a 10x optical zoom and, in combination with the motorized cable reel TR500SV, is designed to inspect wells and boreholes to a depth of 500m (50 bar waterproof).

In Leipzig iPEK also showed their new push camera CO58 Titanium. This high-end camera with auto upright picture and focus is made from ultra-light, but highly durable, titanium.

The camera is standard equipped with a location transmitter and a pressure indicator and works in combination with the new Pushrod Complete for CO58 Titanium.

iPEK have sold over 1500 Pan & Tilt cameras and over 500 CO48/70 axial cameras, based on the technology, have been sold, making this camera type the industry bestseller worldwide.
