Baler Options clinches DIXI range distributorship

Baler Options, a Manchester based waste handling equipment supplier, has recently signed a "sole exclusive distributorship agreement" for the DIXI range of baling machines, for the UK mainland.

The business was established earlier this year by Ian Pearson after spending 20 years working within the waste management industry. He draws upon wide experience gained as a waste producer, waste contractor and, more recently, working for a baler manufacturer.

The company is offering a range of vertical and horizontal baling equipment, drum crushers and specialise waste handling equipment such as glass crushers. Baler Options offers its equipment either by the customer purchasing the equipment outright, or it can offer a comprehensive range of other finance arrangements such as leasing and rental. Baler Options service agents are available on a nationwide basis.

Mr Pearson said: “Baler Options are particularly pleased with this recent agreement as the product range from DIXI, which includes vertical and horizontal balers, and drum crushers is a perfect fit well for our business and customer objectives. DIXI has an enviable reputation throughout Europe for equipment specification, performance, reliability and value for money.”

The vertical range of DIXI balers includes small machines that produce a bale weight of 40kg, up to the flagship baler of the vertical range, the DIXI 80S, which will produce a bale weighing 700kg. The horizontal range of DIXI balers offers a choice of machines to produce bale weights between 150 – 600kg, with a variety host of options, such as conveyors and bin lifts.

The DIXI 60S “Mill-Size” baler’s specifications include as standard, hydraulic door mechanism, IP rating for sitting outside, sliding door, automatic start operation and low overall height of 2,170mm.

Baler Options offers a demonstration service for recyclers and customers, for all machines that produce a bale weight of up to 250kg, on either its DIXI or ECO balers. For other equipment machines can be seen in operation at its Distribution & Demonstration Centre in Lancashire.
