Consulting and business services group Mouchel has demonstrated its commitment to providing a comprehensive planning service by appointing Roger Prescott as Principal Planner in its Environmental Planning and Sustainability team.

Roger’s appointment strengthens Mouchel’s interdisciplinary planning capability by ensuring the existing planning skills across the company are better utilised. This pivotal position cements Mouchel’s Land, Planning and Environment offering, building on existing skills in land referencing, statutory process and environmental assessment.

Ashley Parry-Jones, Divisional Director at Mouchel, said: “We are delighted to have Roger joining us. Mouchel has long provided a planning service to client projects through our other disciplines and is abound with planning expertise. Roger’s appointment provides the focus we need to provide a unique ‘one stop shop’ for infrastructure developers to secure planning consents and related environmental engineering services.”

Roger previously worked for Halcrow where he led a team of planners and urban designers. He has also worked for Hampshire County Council and Nicholas Pearson Associates. Roger has particular interests in Environmental Impact Assessment; flood management and coastal planning; listed buildings and cultural heritage; energy; and regeneration and community engagement.
