CATCH UP WITH COP26:
After a whirlwind two weeks and negotiations that over-ran by more than 24 hours, the gavel came down at Glasgow on Saturday evening (13 November), with world leaders agreeing on the new ‘Glasgow Climate Pact’, which calls on all nations to set new climate targets by the end of next year and phasing down unabated fossil fuel usage and inefficient subsidies.
edie’s award-winning editorial team were on the ground in Glasgow throughout COP26, delivering a live blog, exclusive video and written interviews with leaders, and a daily COP26 Covered podcast. All of this content is available on the edie website now, for those wishing to recap the summit and take a deeper dive into the presidency programme’s themes.
