New chair for Association

Peter Mills, contracts director at New Earth Solutions has been appointed the new chair of The Composting Association, following the stepping down of former chair Trelawney Dampney.

Mills (pictured) said of his appointment: “I would like to thank Trelawney [Dampney] for his hard work over the past three years. Under his stewardship, the association has grown into an organisation of which the composting industry can be proud. I hope that my period in office will build on the foundations that my predecessor has laid.”

Jane Gilbert, chief executive of the Composting Association, added: “Trelawney has been an enthusiastic and dedicated chair. He has helped considerably in seeing the association through a period of growth and development and we wish to extend our thanks for his invaluable contribution. Peter will, we believe, continue this excellent work and help to lead the association forward into a new era.”
