Customers can opt to pay £2 per day for a collection service. Under this payment they can have up to ten waste streams collected including waste oil, filters, batteries, rags, absorbents, granules, contaminated fuel, brake fluid and solvents.

The service is called Green Cover and is aimed mainly at the garage services sector. A similar scheme is available for industrial customers although the cost structure is different due to the variety of waste streams that can be generated by industrial customers.

Commenting on the new service, Richard Barber, Sales and marketing Director of the OSS Group, said “Green Cover offers our customers total peace of mind for under £2 a day – less than the cost of a pint of beer. It ensures total compliance with legislation and guarantees that waste streams are safely and legally disposed of. Included in the cost are legislation updates, environmental help and advice, scheduled telephone calls and the inclusion on a ‘milkround’ for waste oil collections.”

Over the past decade, OSS Group has established itself as one of the largest integrated organisations in the field of specialist waste management. The company has expanded its range of services to cover the full spectrum of waste collection and recycling, and maintains a strong customer focus by developing solutions to meet their individual needs.
