What should COP26 be prioritising in Glasgow?

Last updated: 1st October 2021

COP is the Conference of the Parties of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. The UK currently holds the presidency and COP26 will be held from 1st to 12th November this year in Glasgow.

The current decade is seen as crucial in making global changes ā€“ while we still can ā€“ to take action to limit global temperature rises to 1.5 degrees. To do this, we need to halve emissions over the next decade and reach net zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Worryingly, the world is NOT currently on track to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees.

We would like to ask you, as a key member of the business community in the UK, about what you think COP26 should be putting on the agenda for November.

We will share all the feedback next month ā€“ your input to this short survey would be much appreciated. There are only six questions – just answer as many as you can.
