As Ireland continues to tackle its environmental issues head on, the need for cost-effective products and services is ever more apparent, as is the reason that IWWE and IRWM should be a date in every environmental professional's diary.
In the recently published EPA Annual report, key findings included the urgent need to update and implement the regional waste management plans; that 8.5% of drinking water supplied from group water schemes (impacting 12,325 households) is below acceptable quality standards; and that waste generation is outstripping recycling efforts.
What is IWWE and IRWM?
IWWE and IRWM provide a unique opportunity for both private and public sector professionals to come together, see the latest technologies in action, get free advice and information from over 200 leading industry suppliers, and ask the questions and procure the services they need to meet their environmental targets.
Mr. Martin Cullen T.D., Minister for Environment, Heritage and Local Government will also be delivering a short speech to officially open the IWWE & IRWM exhibitions on 10 November, and other key speakers will include Dr Padraic Larkin, Deputy Director General of the EPA and Director of Licenscing and Guidance, Trevor Sargent, TD, Green Party Leader and Donal Buckley, Head of the Environment Unit, IBEC.
