Firm guilty over Buncefield blast
A firm who made storage tank gauging systems for the Buncefield depot has been convicted in court.
The company was found guilty of failing to ensure employees were not exposed to risks at the fuel depot in Hertfordshire.
However, the firm had already gone into voluntary liquidation in May 2008 owing many hundreds of thousands of pounds to creditors.
The jury continues to deliberate on a verdict on charges faced by TAV engineering of Guildford in relation to the blast.
