FCC Environment backs the Resource Revolution
FCC Environment, one of the UK's leading waste management companies, has thrown its weight behind the Resource Revolution.
FCC Environment has taken lead sponsorship on three key outputs of the campaign. These include a forthcoming White Paper which looks at both business and waste industry attitudes to the emerging circular economy, based on exclusive research.
FCC is also supporting and taking part in the Resource Revolution Thought Leader interviews - a series of high level viewpoint interviews which will be broadcast on edie during March and April with key stakeholder groups involved in spearheading smarter resource management.
The outputs from these interviews and the findings from the White Paper will also be discussed further in front of a live audience with an expert panel debate, in which FCC Environment will take a lead role. The debate is being held on the same day as the Resource Revolution Awards in London on 10 May.
FCC's head of marketing & communications Kristian Dales said that the Resource Revolution was a great opportunity for the company to lead the debate on changing perceptions around waste.
"The Resource Revolution is bringing the whole supply chain together in a lively dialogue about how waste that was once considered merely as a problem is now seen as an essential part of the growth of a new and sustainable green economy," he said.
"There is a lot for us to add to and learn from the Resource Revolution: turning waste from households, businesses and industry into valuable resources is at the heart of the FCC Environment philosophy."
The White Paper will be available to download on edie next month.
