edie's Mission Possible sofa chat show returns for 2019. In the second episode, edie discusses plastics with author, broadcaster and ethical living journalist Lucy Siegle and Sky's head of inspirational business Fiona Ball.


Broadcast live from edie Live 2019 in Birmingham, the Mission Possible sofa interviews offer up an array of the energy and sustainability industry’s leading lights to delve deep into some of the hottest industry topics – from onsite solutions and low-carbon vehicles through to green policy and the circular economy.

In the second episode, edie’s content editor Matt Mace discusses the ongoing plastics crisis with Sky’s Fiona Ball and the BBC’s Lucy Siegle.

During the episode, Ball outlines how the broadcaster’s Ocean Rescue digital campaign is increasing awareness of the major challenge of plastic waste in the oceans, while Siegle links the well-versed rhetoric on plastic with the current boon in climate strikes and declarations of climate emergencies.
