#SustyTalk is all about keeping edie’s loyal readers connected to sustainable business leaders across the world, whilst reminding us all that sustainability and climate action must go on through the current Covid-19 pandemic and beyond.

This series has been running since the UK went into its first lockdown in spring 2020 and, for November 2021, is evolving to contribute to our Net-Zero November campaign (scroll down for details).

The latest episode sees edie’s content editor Matt Mace speaking with EDF UK’s director of I&C sales and marketing Matthew Nunn, as part of edie’s Net-Zero November.

The pair discuss how UK businesses will need to reframe and innovate their energy strategies on the road to net-zero, reflecting on how the clarity provided by the Government’s Net-Zero Strategy will assist in this task.

The video is being broadcast on Energy Day at COP26 in Glasgow, so the two Matts also explore how the momentum of the conference can be harnessed now, and in the coming weeks and months.

For more information on the topics discussed in this video, EDF is also hosting a new blog on edie today. Penned by the firm’s head of large business Raghav Singh, the blog is entitled ‘the necessity of net-zero’ and outlines how businesses can support long-term net-zero commitments with ambitious strategies in the interim.
