The free show at Birmingham’s NEC in April will hear from Adrian Wilkes the founder director of The Environmental Industries Commission.

Mr Wilkes, who is also an edie Award’s for Environmental Excellence judge, will give delegates a look at the current market.

He said: “I’ll be looking at the winners and the losers, the cost benefits and benefits to companies.

“Companies who don’t talk about the low economy are going to be in serious trouble.”

Mr Wilkes thinks the oil industry, hit by peak oil claims, will have to move towards low carbon fuel or face failing.

He’ll also be talking about China and the US’s failure to get a deal done at COP15.

He added: “The US and China held us back and since then the impetus has weakened.

“I’ll also mention the University of East Anglia’s email, which was a a distraction to the talks.”
