It's election year - so despite all the talk of no gimmicks or giveaways, we're likely to see some election politics today. 

But elections are seemingly not won on environmental policy. That is the accepted wisdom.

Sustainability professionals are, by their nature, an optimistic bunch, and have been vocal in laying out their demands for Wednesday's budget - the last of the current Parliament.
