CRC under the spotlight

Just hours after Government announced the latest revisions to its Carbon Reduction Commitment and Energy Efficiency scheme, delegates at a major trade show were treated to a presentation outlining the changes and measures organisations should be taking in the run up to its launch.

Speaking at the Energy Solutions Expo in London, Steph Hague, climate change technical manager for Enviros, gave a whistle-stop tour of the regulations and how companies and public sector organisations should be preparing if they want to stay ahead of the game.

She looked at what the scheme means for the 20,000 organisations across the UK that will be affected and how to understand the risks and business opportunities that the CRC might create for your organisation.

Energy Solutions Expo aims to help professionals from both the public and private sectors limit the impact of rising energy costs whilst staying cost effective and compliant with legislation.

The full presentation can be seen in the video below.

Edie is running a CRC clinic at the Hurlingham Club, London on November 12 to help affected organisations get ahead of the game.

The morning event will feature speakers from DECC and industry experts ERM and PowerPerfector.

Tickets are priced at £150. For more information, visit our CRC clinic page.
