Southern Co-op appoints John Lewis CSR head as new sustainability lead

Lacey joins from the John Lewis Partnership, where she was head of CSR for five years and will develop a new “ethical operating plan” for Southern Co-operative, which operates 210 food stores and funeral homes.

“The role presents an exciting opportunity, not only to develop a tailored sustainability strategy for the business but to be hands on in implementing it,” said Lacey. “I look forward to bringing all aspects of the business together in relation to sustainability… to make a significant impact in the way that we operate.”
