PowerPerfector Group appoints non-executive director

Voltage power optimiser powerPerfector Group has appointed a new non-executive director to its board.

Taking up the role is Mike Carr, who has experience and expertise in technology and research management.

In addition to his latest appointment, Mr Carr is currently a member of the Government's Technology Strategy Board (TSB), vice president, trustee and fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and non-executive director of Ordnance Survey.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr Carr said: "I'm extremely pleased to be joining powerPerfector. As the market leader in the sector, its success is based on a novel and highly efficient technology. This unique position creates a tremendous opportunity for me to contribute as the company continues to innovate in this critical area of helping reduce carbon emissions."
