Sony energy expert calls for single carbon footprint standard
The man charged with keeping electronics giant Sony's carbon footprint in Europe under control wants to see a uniform measurement of emissions.

In an interview with edie Dr Thomas Fischer, the man charged with championing energy efficiency at Sony Europe, called for an industry-wide carbon footprint standard.
Dr Fischer's views can be read in the full interview in edie+ in the features section.
In the interview Dr Fischer says: "Measurement of a carbon footprint is extremely difficult as the supply, chain is very deep.
"We need a universal carbon footprint calculation as currently there's no standard, there needs to be standardisation."
