Ben leads on all work in the industrial and manufacturing space. He directly manages the All-Party Parliamentary Manufacturing Group and the work of the Manufacturing Commission. Prior to joining Policy Connect, Ben worked in public affairs at FleishmanHillard in Brussels, and most recently worked as Regional Affairs Manager for EEF, the manufacturers’ organisation, where he led on policy and external affairs in the North East region.
Jonathan Horrell, Director Sustainability, Mondelēz International
Jonathan is director global sustainability for the snacking company Mondelēz International, a world leader in biscuits, chocolate and other categories, featuring brands such as Oreo and belVita biscuits; Cadbury Dairy Milk and Milka chocolate; and Trident gum. He is responsible for sustainability strategy, managing key sustainability issues, and building relationships with policy makers and external stakeholders to support the company’s strategic sustainability priorities.
Louise Needham, Sustainability Manager, Quorn Foods
Louise heads up the sustainability agenda for Quorn Foods – the UK’s leading meat-alternative food brand and manufacturer based in Stokesley, North Yorkshire. Previously of Sheffield Hallam University, she has worked since 2011 to direct the technical environmental analyses and research relating to the Quorn range and core ingredient mycoprotein.
Louise is currently focused on setting resource efficiency targets, coordinating global communications relating to sustainable nutrition and aligning sustainability priorities with the strategic direction of the business. She is truly passionate about sustainability – specifically the role of food and consumption
Ian Hopkins, Director, Centrica Business Solutions
Ian is a technical sales professional and business leader with more than 15 years’ experience in delivering energy efficiency projects and strategy in Europe and the United States. Ian currently heads up the UK & Ireland sales function within Centrica Business Solutions.
