#SustyTalk: Atos’ Clay Van Doren on how CEOs can lead corporate climate action

The latest episode sees edie’s senior reporter Sarah George in discussion with Atos’ chief executive for Northern Europe, Clay Van Doren.

Recorded earlier this month, the exclusive interview provides Van Doren with a platform to reflect on how the UK, as COP26 host, positioned the role of business in delivering the Paris Agreement and working towards a net-zero world.

He gives his thoughts on how international agreements, compounded by action locally which is – in many cases – more swift, are leading to “tipping points” in the transition to a more sustainable future.

Van Doren also talks about the “net-zero multiplier effect”, whereby businesses are likely to be called upon to assist the transition beyond their own metaphorical four walls in 2022 and beyond.
