Business leadership in 2019: Calling on edie readers to take annual sustainability survey
CSR, resource and energy professionals are invited to take a new annual survey developed by edie, which will help inform a major new report investigating the state of business leadership in 2019.
The 10-minute survey, developed in partnership with energy company ENGIE, can be taken here. It explores the drivers, challenges, opportunities that business leaders will face in the year ahead as they look to achieve a low-carbon, resource-efficient future.
This will be the first in a new series of annual surveys of corporate sustainability and energy professionals, which will help to create an informative, useful account of corporate sustainability leadership within the UK.
How committed is your business to renewable energy and single-use plastics? Which skills and traits do you believe are the most important for sustainability leadership within business? What one sustainability opportunity are you most hopeful that your business will focus on or achieve in 2019? The Sustainability Leaders 2019 survey is your opportunity to tell us exactly what business leadership looks like for your organisation in the next 12 months.
The results of this survey will help to inform the inaugural Sustainability Leaders 2019 report, sponsored by ENGIE, which is being officially launched at edie’s Sustainability Leaders Forum on 5-6 February. Individual survey responses will be kept anonymous.
The Sustainability Leaders survey can be completed here. The survey will close on Friday 11 January.

All respondents of the survey will be given an exclusive 15% discount for the Sustainability Leaders Forum. The two-day event, taking place 5 & 6 February 2019 at the Building Design Centre, London, brings together a community of business leaders, sustainability practitioners, government representatives, NGOs and investors – all with a common goal: to transform business, for good.
