This special episode is overseen by edie’s senior reporter Sarah George, who delivers three exclusive interviews with new guests for this series.

First, Sarah dials Amsterdam for a chat with Otrium’s sustainability lead Marlot Kiveron, to discuss how supply chain challenges, growing sustainability awareness and stories of brands destroying stock are pushing consumers towards more sustainable fashion choices.

Then, another sustainability-minded SME that is rapidly scaling up joins the call, namely AllMatters. The brand’s co-owner and chief executive Gitte Dalberg Larsen outlines the challenges and opportunities that have come with trying to leverage behaviour change in the context of 2021, and explores how businesses can stay true to their sustainability principles as they grow.

Last but by no means least is an exclusive discussion with Diversity in Sustainability’s co-founder Heather Mak, calling in all the way from Canada. Heather is well-placed to reflect on whether the sustainability profession is properly responding to the increased focus on equity and inclusion for people from marginalized backgrounds we’ve all seen in recent months. She also provides some ideas for 2022 resolutions for those looking to build an equitable, green future.
