The Sustainable Business Covered podcast returns to bring more exclusive interviews and insight from the world of sustainability. The latest episode sees the edie team tour breweries and dry-cleaning facilities, before a special guest calls into the studio.

Firstly, edie travels to Copenhagen to interview Carlsberg’s sustainability director Simon Boas-Hoffmeyer. The brewer recently unveiled a plethora of plastic-reducing innovations - including 'snap pack' packaging - and Boas-Hoffmeyer provides a behind-the-scenes look as to how they were achieved.

Following that, edie’s Sarah George travels to Watford for a tour of a new solar-powered dry-cleaning facility which hosts some innovative new technology that improves the environmental impact of the facility. Sarah is taken on a whistle-stop tour of the cleaners by VClean Life’s managing director Nick Harris.

Finally, Canary Wharf Group’s head of sustainability Martin Gettings phones into the studio from his holidays in Cornwall to discuss the Group’s approach to integrating the SDGs, ahead of Global Goals Week next week.
