edie senior reporter Matt Mace and reporter George Ogleby come together in the studio for this 31st episode of the Sustainable Business Covered podcast, which features two sets of exclusive interviews.

Playmob’s founder Jude Ower is first up on this episode, discussing how the “gaming for good” company is partnering with some industry giants to create an immersive platform to educate and inspire players on the global goals.

Gaming is a huge and largely untapped industry for businesses to promote sustainability, and Playmob’s What’s Missing game aims to use the 16 billion hours per week playing games globally to better use.

Later on in the episode, Ikea invites us to celebrate 30 years of operating in the UK, by throwing a house party that looks back at the housing trends across the decades. George sits down with Ikea’s head of sustainability for UK and Republic Ireland Hege Sæbjørnsen to discuss how the retailer has enabled its consumers to get on board with the sustainability transition.
