Time to Transform: edie to host Business Leadership month of content and events in March

edie will update the site with more information in due course

Under the banner of “Time to Transform, March 2022 will act as edie’s Business Leadership month, with the editorial team primed to deliver an array of thought-provoking content across all mediums, tapping into the sustainability movement.

With the Sustainability Leaders Forum and Awards (scroll down for more information) moved to March to allow for in-person events, edie is transforming its website into a month-long content focus on the topic of business leadership.

The stakes could not be higher. As COP26 highlighted, we must all play our part in keeping 1.5°C alive, and that means making bold, transformational decisions to shift organisational models and evolve entire industries – whether by curbing emissions, protecting our natural resources or fighting poverty and discrimination,” edie’s content director Luke Nicholls said.

“edie’s Business Leadership Month is dedicated to empowering, connecting and celebrating the individuals and teams who are spearheading that business transformation. Running throughout March 2022, the month is centred around the flagship Sustainability Leaders Forum (8-9 March) and the Sustainability Leaders Awards (30 March), supplemented by a plethora of leadership-themed articles, surveys, reports, webinars and podcasts. The time to transform starts now.”

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MONTH

1) Sustainability Leaders Forum (08-09 March)

The multi-award-winning Sustainability Leaders Forum is edie’s biggest business event of the year, uniting 600+ corporate leaders, sustainability experts, government representatives, investors and NGOs for two days of thought-provoking talks and interactive workshops – all with a laser-like focus on transforming business, for good. 2) Sustainability Leaders Awards (30 March)

The associated Sustainability Leaders Awards is the UK’s largest sustainability awards scheme, recognising the people, projects and initiatives that are accelerating business transformation. From the best efficiency programmes to product innovations; from stakeholder engagement and social sustainability initiatives to the people on the ground who are making change happen – the Awards celebrate and reward the sustainability excellence across all sectors. TV presenter Chris Packham has just been announced as the host for the Awards. Click here to read more.

3) Business Leadership Survey & Report

Our flagship annual survey is back for 2022, exploring what great business looks like this year. The survey results will form the basis of an exclusive, high-level report, wrapping up Business Leadership Month. Keep an eye out on the edie site to access this survey.

4) Exclusive Features and podcasts

edie will publish an array of exclusive features exploring the theme of sustainability leadership. From how the skillset of a sustainability professional has evolved, to avoiding the “carbon tunnel”, the features and discussions published during the month will equip readers with new insight.

5) Blogs and interview

Throughout March edie will hear from some of the leaders of the sustainability movement, and the business decision makers tasked with delivering a sustainable transition. From blogs from the chief executive of Barclays to discussions with some of the most recognisable sustainability leaders, every key topic will be discussed by the experts.
