New investigation links H&M and Zara clothing to illegal deforestation in Brazil
UK-based non-profit Earthsight accused popular clothing brands H&M and Zara of working with suppliers that sourced cotton linked to illegal deforestation in Brazil. It is also calling on fashion firms to better assess risks relating to land grabbing and human rights in their supply chains.
