Last chance to register: COP26 business champion Andrew Griffith to deliver keynote at the Sustainability Leaders Forum

From net-zero strategy to personal sustainability skills

Conservative MP Griffith was named as the UK’s Net-Zero Business Champion for COP26 late last year. Griffith will appear at the Forum to deliver a keynote on green policy and COP26 on day two (Wednesday 3 February).

Griffith will discuss how the UK can lead a decade of climate action, how COP26 will mobilise business collaboration and how what the year has in store from a green policy perspective.

Under the ambition of Together We Can, the Sustainability Leaders Forum will be a collaborative online experience; combining powerful keynote talks with interactive panel debates and co-creative workshops – all dedicated to inspiring courageous, collective action to solve the climate crisis.

Sessions and speakers

Having evolved from a face-to-face event to a new, virtual experience, the Sustainability Leaders Forum 2021 will allow delegates to “choose their own adventure”, with a plethora of session themes including net-zero strategy, sustainable investment, supply chain innovation, regeneration and biodiversity, and achieving the SDGs.

All three days (2-4 February) will be chaired by Futerra co-founder Solitaire Townsend, with confirmed speakers including Nando’s chief executive Colin Hill, World Green Building Council chief executive Christina Gamboa, Claire O’Neill, now the managing director, climate & energy at the WBCSD, Sky Bigger Picture director Fiona Ball, and Pernod Ricard’s vice-president of sustainability and responsibility Vanessa Wright.

Additionally, the third day of the event will act as a dedicated Sustainability Skills Seminar. These sessions will be packed with inspirational presentations and actionable insights to help sustainability and CSR professionals develop their skillsets and take on new responsibilities this year.

Standing out from the crowd of online events, the Sustainability Leaders Forum will be a truly collaborative experience. Innovative “speed networking” technology will connect delegates based on ticket types via video chats, while co-creative workshops will be professionally facilitated to deliver tangible outputs. Additionally, virtual exhibition booths will showcase some of the cutting-edge technologies and services that will shape the decade of sustainable business action.
