Presented along with co-host and edie content editor Matt Mace, this episode summarises edie’s Engagement Week 2021 editorial campaign, dedicated to super-charging sustainability communications, reporting and engagement schemes.

Our first guest for this episode is Innocent Drinks’ responsible business manager Katie Leggett, who outlines how employee engagement and ‘sustainability cheerleading’ can still be effective in the world of remote working.

Then, Carlsberg Group’s sustainability manager Pete Statham discusses the brewer’s ongoing partnership with WWF, providing best-practice learnings on building strong relationships with existing and potential NGO partners.

The third and final guest this episode is Davy’s senior sustainability director, Dr Dorothy Maxwell. Building on Davy’s recent blogs for edie, Maxwell gives an overview of the legal requirements that are shaping sustainability-related investor engagements, including the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosures Regulation and mandates around the Task Force on Climate-Related Disclosures (TCFD).

This episode forms part of edie’s Engagement Week editorial campaign for 2021. Since Monday (4 May), the editorial team have been delivering a series of podcasts, blogs, live events and interviews all focused on helping sustainability professionals achieve excellence.
