The first webinar, on Tuesday 1 February, is on the Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRC) which came into being in April last year. The webinar “Dealing with the CRC as a tax” is free and will be broadcast live at 10.00am.

The CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme is a mandatory scheme and a complex piece of legislation. Many companies are still unsure of the implications for them and how to go about reporting their emissions.

EDF Energy will present the main points of the changes to the CRC legislation and help you to navigate your way through the scheme.

The webinar is hosted by EDF Energy’s Siobhan Hyland, Regulation and Compliance Analyst, and Michael Capper, Product Development and Sales Manager.

There are several methods of responding to the recent changes in the regulation, and these will form the basis of your strategy in dealing with the scheme.

They will present the paths that your CRC strategy could take, and discuss the implications and benefits of each.

This is the first of a two-part webinar brought to you by edie and EDF Energy, with the second presentation coming in March.
