RWM show unveils resource efficiency theme for 2012

The RWM exhibition is to have a new logo and strapline for next year's event to reflect the wider target audience it is now attracting, according to the show's organisers, Emap.

‘Resource efficiency and waste management solutions’ will be the featured strapline of the 2012 event, and it will retain its name – RWM in partnership with CIWM – which was initially a working title, borne out of the merger that took place last year between Emap’s RWM and CIWM’s Futuresource exhibitions.

It was widely expected that the name would be changed and simplified, but organisers wanted to reinforce the “strong branding” of the RWM exhibition with one of the waste industry’s leading trade associations, CIWM.

Event director, Gerry Sherwood, said: “Following the successful merger with CIWM’s Futuresource for 2011, we want to make the 2012 exhibition even bigger and even better. We’re expecting the 2012 event to include several significant new features and even more leading speakers in our seminar theatres.”

The 2012 event will take place from 11-13 September 2012 at Birmingham NEC.
