Record entries for Sustainability Leaders Awards 2015 as judging begins

edie is celebrating another record-breaking year for entries to the 2015 Sustainability Leaders Awards, with our esteemed judging panel now facing the tough task of whittling down the shortlist of finalists.

Entries poured in by the hundreds for edie’s RSA-accredited awards which closed earlier this month, with businesses and organisations across the public and private sectors represented in each of this year’s 13 categories.

Now in their ninth year, the Sustainability Leaders Awards recognise excellence across the spectrum of sustainability activity; from the best efficiency programmes through to sustainable design and product innovation. Sustainability Leaders have one thing in common: they are all doing business better.

Previous winners include B&Q, Whitbread and the University of Reading. But the 2015 event is set to be bigger and better than ever…

With such an array of high-quality entries to analyse this year, edie hand-picked the 2015 judges based on their specialist knowledge and experience within their own specific field. From Forum to the Future to WRAP; the Carbon Trust to Waterwise, we’ve got sustainability expertise right across the board.

This year’s Sustainability Leaders Awards categories are: –

Sustainability Leader
Sustainability Professional
Sustainable Business of the Year Award
Employee Engagement and Behaviour Change
Sustainable Supply Chains
Sustainability Reporting
Sustainability Product Innovation
Energy Management
Water Management
Carbon Management Award
Waste & Resource Management
Sustainable Packaging
Sustainable Business Models

The rigorous judging process is now underway, with the shortlist of finalists for each category being announced by edie in September. Winners for each category will then be unveiled at a glittering Awards ceremony in London on 19 November.

Good luck!
