On-demand webinar: Inside Heathrow’s 2.0 sustainability strategy

With the 'Heathrow 2.0' sustainability update landing on Monday (22 April), edie hosted a live, interactive webinar featuring the Airport's chief executive John Holland-Kaye to discuss how the business has progressed on its mission to lead the industry on sustainable growth.

The all-encompassing Heathrow 2.0 strategy lists more than 200 targets across a range of social, environmental and economic issues. It is divided into four key pillars – ‘A great place to work’; ‘A great place to live’; ‘A thriving sustainable economy’; and ‘A world worth travelling’.

One year on from the launch of the strategy, what has changed? How is this statement of intent being met by positive actions across a range of social, environmental and economic issues?

On Monday 23 April at 1pm-2pm (BST)an exclusive edie webinar discussed the annual update report for Heathrow 2.0, just hours after its launch.

The webinar brought together Heathrow’s chief executive John Holland-Kaye and director of sustainability Matthew Gorman with Business in the Community chief executive Amanda Mackenzie and The Climate Group’s corporate partnerships director Mike Peirce, to discuss how Heathrow’s new super-strategy is helping to transform the business, for good.
