Green Tomato Cars becomes official transport partner of edie’s Sustainability Leaders Forum and Awards

Business delegates attending the Sustainability Leaders Forum and Awards on 5 and 6 February 2019 will be able to travel to and from the event in ultra-low and zero-emission vehicles, thanks to a new transport partnership forged between edie and Green Tomato Cars.

The new partnership will see Green Tomato Cars offer Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and battery electric vehicles such as the Tesla Model S to attendees of the 2019 Forum and Awards, which take place at the Business Design Centre in Islington and the Park Plaza London Westminster respectively.

“Green Tomato Cars and edie are both focused on sustainability and reducing environmental impact, so partnering for the Sustainability Leaders Forum and Awards makes perfect sense,” Green Tomato Cars’ managing director Jonny Goldstone, said.

“With the UK’s largest fleet of zero-emission fuel cell electric vehicles, Green Tomato Cars continues to lead the way within London’s private-hire industry; by using our ultra-low and zero-emission vehicles delegates can help improve air quality within the capital and tackle climate change, one journey at a time.”

Green Tomato Cars’ standard vehicle has an emissions rating of 70g/km. By comparison, traditional black cabs have a rating of around 209g/km. In addition, Green Tomato Cars pledges to double-offset unavoidable vehicle emissions by funding projects that have environmental and wellbeing benefits to local communities.

The partnership with edie will cover both days of the Forum (5-6 February) and the Awards (6  February). To make use of the service, delegates to either event should set up an account with Green Tomato Cars directly. As a further incentive for setting up an account ahead of the event, companies or individuals will be offered discounted rates against the firm’s standard account prices (no discounts will be offered on bookings made on a cash/card payment basis).

To register for an account with Green Tomato Cars, call Claire on 020 7107 0793 or email claire.thackeray@greentomatocars.com and quote this article. Bookings can be made online at www.greentomatocars.com, by phone or via the company’s app – all available 24/7.
