“Alastair leads the scoping and delivery of projects to provide the industry with the tools and guidance it requires to radically improve the sustainability of the built environment. His current focus areas are circular economy, climate resilience, green infrastructure and innovation. Alastair was previously a director at a national property consultancy where he provided advice on sustainability issues throughout the property lifecycle and especially on asset management, focussing on strategy, reporting and the link to business value.”

Simon Tranter, head of sustainability, Willmott Dixon:

“Willmott Dixon has a long-term strategy for sustainable business and Simon’s role is to help implement this strategy across a wide range of functions – pre-construction, compliance, community, supply chain, environment and operations. He studied Environmental Science at Birmingham University. From there Simon started his first job, working for a consultancy, and his experience in construction is mostly in major civil engineering and infrastructure.”

Isabel McAllister, responsible business director, Mace:

“Isabel leads the Responsible Business portfolio at Mace which includes leadership and delivery of the 2022 Responsible Business strategy and working with Mace clients and partners to help shape and deliver their own programmes of work. Mace became a signatory of RE100 in 2017, and is committed to procuring 100% renewable energy by 2022.”

Jamie Roberts, director of managed accounts, Reconomy:

Jamie has been working in the waste industry for 10 years. Having a background in hazardous and clinical waste from his time with phs, Jamie joined Reconomy in 2015 and is currently Director of Managed accounts, responsible for sales and service to large customers in the housebuilding, infrastructure and construction sectors – including a key focus on harnessing data and technology to improve the customer experience.”
