With edie readers working remotely or on furlough, this new series of video interviews keeps you connected to the inspirational business leaders who are continuing to drive sustainability and champion climate action from their own homes.

#SustyTalk is all about keeping edie’s loyal readers connected to sustainable business leaders across the world, whilst reminding us all that sustainability and climate action must go on through the current Covid-19 pandemic and beyond.

The latest episode sees edie’s senior reporter Sarah George speaking with Anglian Water’s head of sustainability Andy Brown, ahead of his appearance at edie’s Sustainability Leaders Forum on 2-4 February 2021 (scroll down for details).

Brown discusses how the UK’s water sector has plotted a joint pathway to net-zero by 2030 despite the challenges posed by Covid-19.

He also provides learnings from Anglian Water’s experience in redefining its business purpose and adopting a “six capitals” approach, where things like nature and skills are positioned alongside financials in decision-making processes.

Brown will be speaking on Day Three (4 February) of the Sustainability Leaders Forum, as part of a panel discussion on social sustainability. He will be joined by experts from Futerra, BSI Group, Morgan Sindall and Firmenich.
