With edie readers working remotely or on furlough, this new series of video interviews keeps you connected to the inspirational business leaders who are continuing to drive sustainability and champion climate action from their own homes.

#SustyTalk is all about keeping edie’s loyal readers connected to sustainable business leaders across the world, whilst reminding us all that sustainability and climate action must go on through the current Covid-19 pandemic and beyond.

The latest episode sees edie’s senior reporter Sarah George speaking with the WBA’social transformation lead Dan Neale, ahead of his appearance at edie’s Sustainability Leaders Forum on 2-4 February 2021 (scroll down for details).

Neale discusses whether businesses are really learning the lessons relating to social inequalities and environmental degradation writ large by the Covid-19 pandemic. He discusses trends in supply chain auditing, transparency and traceability, among other vitally important topics.

He also touches on the 2021 update to the WBA’s SDG2000 – its ranking of the 2,000 global companies that have the most influence in contributing to the delivery of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Neale will be speaking on Day Two (3 February) of the Sustainability Leaders Forum, as part of a panel discussion on supercharging sustainability reporting. He will be joined by experts from Beyond Business, Tideway, PMI and Rio AI.
