COP26 Primer reports: edie completes series with Adaptation & Resilience focus

Each report in the five-part series provides a much-needed progress update across the five key areas of the COP26 climate talks

As demonstrated through edie’s COP26 Focus Week running throughout this week (6-10 September), the eponymous climate summit represents a significant opportunity for governments and businesses to overcome the climate crisis and to lead the world into a cleaner, greener future.

edie’s COP26 Primer Report series is about seizing that opportunity. Produced in the run-up to the official talks, this mini-series of reports is based on the five key themes of COP26: Clean Energy, Clean Transport, Adaptation & Resilience, Nature-Based Solutions, and Climate Finance.

The series culminated today (7 September) with the publication of the fifth and final report, which focused on the key topic of Climate Adaptation & Resilience. That report explores how resilience and adaptation solutions are helping to safeguard some of the world’s most vulnerable communities from the impacts of the climate crisis, while also delivering a green economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic.

The reports were developed with input from a multitude of expert contributors and industry partners, including The Climate Group, WWF, Industry Tracker, Woodland Trust, UL, and British Gas. View all reports in the series here
