Pakistan: army drafted in to secure contingency water supply

The Karachi Water and Sewerage Board has secured the services of the army to implement a contingency plan for when Karachi's Hub dam water supply stops in March this year. Some 25 staff from the army engineering corps will supervise the installation of new pumps pumping stations and tube-wells.
