Engaging all employees in the quest to reduce energy consumption and costs is a huge challenge for many employers. Mitie Energy, a specialist provider of integrated energy services, chose to tackle this issue with the eLearning energy awareness programme, Be Energy.
Mitie needed to ensure that all staff in its specialist energy division were well informed about key energy issues. As part of their progress towards achieving certification to ISO 50001, MITIE Energy also had a requirement to deliver energy training.
E-learning was considered to be the most flexible, efficient and cost-effective way to deliver the training. Mitie chose the Be Energy programme because they were impressed by the content, professionalism, the key learning points and the fact that they could tailor materials to provide the MITIE context.
JRP Solutions enrolled 180 Mitie employees into the Be Energy eLearning Energy Awareness course and a total of 157 users completed and passed the course over a two month period, each receiving a pass certificate. Delegates were delighted with the programme and gave an average of 4.5 out of 5 stars, with some extremely positive reports which speak for themselves!
