Good news for businesses with high energy use

Last updated: 19th April 2021

Is your organisation eligible for funding to support the development and deployment of technologies that will enable you to transition to a low carbon future? We are supporting companies to apply for funding from The Industrial Energy Transformation Fund (IETF) - give us a call if you'd like to find out more.

The Industrial Energy Transformation Fund (IETF) is designed to help businesses with high energy use to cut their energy bills and carbon emissions through investing in energy efficiency and low-carbon technologies. The IETF supports the development and deployment of technologies that enable businesses with high energy use to transition to a low carbon future.

The UK government announced £315 million of funding in the 2018 Budget, available up until 2024.

BEIS manages the IETF for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, with £289 million to invest over consecutive application windows split into 2 phases:

Phase 1, which supports the deployment of energy efficiency projects as well as energy efficiency and decarbonisation studies, is open for applications until 14 July 2021.

Phase 2 (launching 2021) will expand the scope of the Fund to include deployment of decarbonisation technologies.

JRP is experienced in applying for grant funding for a wide range of projects and technologies. If you would like to know whether you could apply for this fund or to discuss how we could support your application, please email george.richards@jrpsolutions.com or call 0800 6127 567.
