Offer extended – Free energy training for organisations in Cornwall!

Last updated: 6th February 2019

There is an opportunity for a limited number of organisations in Cornwall to engage staff in the energy saving message with an eLearning programme, tailored to their own specific requirements, at absolutely no cost to the business.

We know that energy savings achieved through changing behaviours can equal or exceed savings made through capital investment projects but we also know that very few organisations prioritise energy training.

Centrica’s Local Energy Market (LEM) in Cornwall*, together with energy specialists JRP Solutions, are offering this free energy training to help your organisation improve its energy efficiency and save costs.

Be Energy is a user-friendly, interactive, eLearning programme that will help your employees to understand what energy is, how the use of energy impacts on our environment and how they can use less energy at home and at work to save costs and to create healthier businesses and a healthier planet.

You can watch a short introduction to the standard programme here, but don’t forget, one of our energy specialists will work with you to tailor the programme to your own organisation so that staff can really engage with the message to achieve maximum impact.

If you are interested in finding out more, please respond immediately by emailing info@jrpsolutions.co.uk or call 0800 6127 567.

Please note:

It is likely that this offer will be very popular and we will therefore operate a first come first served policy.

To qualify for this programme your organisation must be located in Cornwall and not have benefited from a previous Centrica ‘Energy Assist’.

An energy specialist will spend approximately 1 day at your premises to assess how you use energy and to collect relevant information, photographs and videos in order to create bespoke content.

  1. This programme is most suitable for staff who have limited understanding of energy.
  2. 10 people in each organisation can enrol in the programme.
  3. Delegates will be provided with a CPD certificate.
  4. The programme lasts approximately one hour.

*The LEM is a pioneering £19m project, part- funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Centrica – more information on the Local Energy Market can be found here. We are already supporting several Cornish businesses that are making significant energy savings.
