Job Purpose: To lead on the development and delivery of strategic policy and advocacy relationships with our corporate partners, and other selective business interests, where a change in corporate behaviour will unlock significant influence towards our public policy aims in addition to income secured. This will include working with corporates to drive a race to the top in the regulatory, legal and policy frameworks in which they operate to support protection, restoration and expansion of native woods and trees. Salary: £35k

THE ROLE

As part of the Conservation Policy team, the Lead Policy Advocate – Corporate, is responsible for leading the development of strategic relationships with our corporate partners to secure our policy aims. 

Utilising expertise and experience in corporate partnership management and policy advocacy, this pivotal role will be responsible for managing and delivering our corporate advocacy plans.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a strong negotiator and networker who has the ability to influence internal and external audiences, using your previous experience within a corporate partnership and advocacy role.

Whilst working at pace you will demonstrate strong leadership skills to be able to collaborate and lead small teams to develop and implement new strategies and secure key policy changes. You will complement these skills with a clear understanding of the potential future shifts in policy and political context for the corporate sector.
