Yet today, financing is a key bottleneck to reforestation efforts. In our 2022 survey of 230 forestry teams across 63 countries, 95% cited funding as the key barrier to their work.We launched the Seed to Carbon Forest Accelerator to solve this critical early-stage funding gap by providing the resources needed so forestry teams can grow biodiverse forests, produce high-quality verified carbon credits, and create sustainable revenue streams. Terraformation’s current partner network spans five continents and includes diverse landowners and organizations. It was founded in 2020 by Yishan Wong, former CEO of Reddit.
