The London Community Recycling Network is from today (October 16) known as the London Community Resource Network.

Chief executive, Matthew Thomson, explained the rebranding was to reflect their wider work across the capital.

He said: “Because we’re working with reuse, organics, carbon, employment and skills and community cohesion resource is a word which somehow links all of those very different work areas.

“We’re not the binmen of the third sector; we do know a lot about that but the communities and enterprises we’re working with are about so much more than that.”
