“The level of entries this year, both in terms of volume and quality, has been incredible,” said edie and Sustainable Business magazine managing editor Will Parsons. “The projects, initiatives and people that have been entered are from across the spectrum – both public and private sector organisations, the largest brands to start-up companies and from a huge number of business sectors. It’s so encouraging to see such engagement with the sustainability agenda from companies as disparate a global blue chips and local micro-organisations. The judges are going to have their hardest job yet in determining our winners.”

“The growth of these awards over the years underlines not only how far sustainability has become central to and embedded in business operations, but also how the business community values and regards this event and the publications that organise it.”

The shortlist for each category will be announced in the next few days and the winners announced at the gala black-tie dinner at The Grange St Paul’s Hotel in London on December 5th.
